We want to create a new webapp called propaganda.city.

The point of this webapp:

Cities around the country, and around the world, use intentional disinformation, and debunked ideas, to support capitalist deregulation, even though this is against the interests of city residents, and the natural world they depend upon.

City-focused government and corporate propaganda is geared towards the interests of corporations and capital, to continue the financialization and instrumentalizing of city government, in order to exploit and extract.

We need to draw awareness to this, before cities become SO anti-nature and anti-people that the effect is irreversible, and people have no time in their lives to resist. Although the long-term goals of capital very, the bipartisan consensus is that cities should be full of renters who are wage slaves, who have no democratic process available to them.

Propaganda moves very quickly these days, so there is no point in tracking its movements or origins -- only in pointing out its use in different places, and presenting counter-arguments, and tools for countering the extreme mega-capitalist policies that they promote.

So, the webapp basically looks like a localized newspaper, with headlines about propaganda techniques, targets of big capital within our cities, with subheadings and articles about successful counter-arguments and strategies.
